Today is Speak Up Space’s 3rd Birthday. It’s a good time to reflect and celebrate our achievements. SUS began based on young people’s feedback that they’d like to be able to access support online. A local family supported the service and fundraised for us.

In 2019, our instant messaging service ran for two evenings per week with just one person. Now, we are a fully commissioned service by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Stoke-On-Trent commissioning group with a team of 10 staff offering our instant messaging support 7 evenings per week.

We have supported lots of young people online. We’ve supported people with anxiety, low mood, school difficulties, bullying, friendships, low self-esteem and much more. We work with any young people under the age of 18 and you can chat about anything that is important to you.

If somebody you know would like to chat to one of our team our opening times are;

Monday – 5pm until 8pm

Tuesday -8pm until 11pm

Wednesday– 5pm until 8pm

Thursday– 4pm until 9pm

Friday– 8pm until 11pm

Saturday– 8pm until 11pm

Sunday – 8pm until 11pm
