MACCAS Zone  

MACCAS Zone is a confidential informal drop-in service supporting young people aged between 14- 18. The group provides peer support, therapeutic activities, informal support as well as a place to chat and 1-2-1 wellbeing sessions.

Savana

Savana offer a service for young people in Stoke-on-Trent from the age of 4, who have experienced sexual violence or abuse. Your counsellor will offer a non- judgemental space to talk about anything you need too. Your counsellor will review the sessions regularly to see if you are getting what you want from counselling. Savana are currently supporting clients via the telephone.

Stoke City Foundation

RISE (Resilience, Identity and Self-esteem)

This programme provides longer term individual support and mentoring for vulnerable young people ages between 11 and 17 years old with multiple barriers and risk factors. They aim to help young people feel valued and respected. RISE try to accommodate a time that works for you, they want to help you develop skills and qualities to have the best start in life as possible.

Visyon

Visyon are a mental health charity who offer a safe space to talk and offer support to families. Visyon support young people aged from 4 to 18 years old in Cheshire and Staffordshire Moorlands. They are currently offering telephone support for young people.

Visyon offer: Counselling, mentoring, wellbeing groups and family support. If you would like some support from Visyon please call: 01260 290 000.

Visyon also offer an open access line for young people aged 13+ and parents, to talk to professional about how they are feeling.

YESS

YESS are a charity based in Uttoxeter, Cannock and East Staffordshire. At YESS they recognise and value the differences of each child, they provide counselling, art therapy, dance and movement therapy, CBT and Systemic family therapy.

To access this service your GP will need to make a referral to CAMHS. You can self refer to YESS but you may be classed as a private client, and may need to pay.

Our Face2Face project supports 16 to 18 year olds with one to one counselling.

We provide one to one counselling support within our base at 67 Branston Road and remotely at Burton and South Derbyshire College, Paget High School, De ferrers High school and Paulet High School and are hoping to expand this further to other local schools next year.
